DELLASIE ALIGNS WITH ICONIC SUSTAINABLE CLOTHING BRAND CACAO

ACCRA, GHANA || DELLASIE is the new face of sustainable clothing brand CACAO as their brand ambassador. CACAO is the sister brand to Kwaku Bediako's ‘Chocolate Clothing Global’. CACAO is a sustainable brand that gives elevated athleisure and streetwear energy. Mr. Bediako established this brand only 2 short years ago, and since — the brand has signed a major cross-branding deal with NBA’s  THE BAL (African Basketball League). Bediako designs athletic merchandise for the organization. 

This brand is also highly sustainable with up-cyclced basketball purses (worn by DELLA$IE in the above image), and incredible pants sets, wrap dresses, patchwork designs and other pieces crafted by discarded fabric, school uniforms, cocoa sacks, secondhand denim + so much more... [FUN FACT] : Dellasie’s outfit is a T-shirt she was gifted in Algeria at the IATF conference she performed in. She cut the tee, made a skirt with elastic detailing, and performed her heart out at the 6th annual OBRONI WAWU FESTIVAL. The festival celebrates second hand fashion, up-cycled design and sustainability. The up-cycled purse rounded out  perfect look for the occasion!

Last month, DELLASIE was part of a select group of African artists who participated in the 2025 IATF/Canex conference (including Nigerian MEGA STAR WIZKID). The IATF (Intra-African Trade Fair) by AFREXIMBANK is the largest trade fair of it's kind; showcasing talent and vendors from every aspect of the creative sector (film, gastronomy, music, fashion, etc). This mega-conference brought together 112,476 participants from 70 countries (49 African nations) in Algiers, Algeria. 

DELLA$IE was the representation -- not only for GHANA, but for African female-rappers across the continent. Her set was one of the most memorable; her FIRE energy and intense lyrics grabbed the attention of all the participants in the CANEX tent that evening. She caused sheer pandemonium! The crowd transformed from sparse to full, as her set raged on... By the end, the crowd enthusiastically shouted for an ENCORE -- and DELLA$IE obliged! THIS MOMENT WAS PURE ALCHEMY. A time was certainly had! It was an electric performance that reportedly became a buzz among guests long after her set concluded.... A testiment to always showing up as your best no matter what!

She wore a pair of exclusive patchwork denim trousers from sustainable clothing brand, CACAO . CACAO is one of 2 Ghanaian clothing brands founded by renowned fashion entrepreneur Kwaku Bediako. Mr. Bediako is also part of the CANEX eco-system, making this a full-circle moment and a strong representation for sustainable fashion in Ghana. GHANA to the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!

Dellasie released a remix to top afrobeats track "Into the Future" by STONEBWOY. The song gives the melodic tune a fresh, hip-hop twist! With DJ Yoga (Dellasie's long-time friend and collaborator) on the ad-libs -- this remix is a whole entire vibe!
